UPN Terms, Conditions, Privacy Statement & Statement That We Will Never Rent Our Mailing Lists For Use By Third Parties
UPN sometimes uses Constant Contact and MailChimp to communicate via email. UPN will never rent our email lists for use by third parties, and we never sell our email lists. The only exception to this rule is the circumstance in which UPN merges with, or is sold to, another organization. In the event that ever happens, you will be notified of the sale and/or merger, and will have the option to unsubscribe to any or all lists. All UPN emails sent from Constant Contact and Mail Chimp provide our readers with the option to unsubscribe at any time.
UPN clients agree to pay UPN invoices for the total services within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt of invoice. A late payment fee of one and a half percent (1.5%) per month of the invoiced amount may be charged for payments received after thirty (30) days. For online training, fees are nonrefundable once training accounts are set up and assigned. For in-person training, fees are nonrefundable but Client may reschedule for another mutually agreed upon date under the conditions that client pays for the difference in UPN trainer travel expenses.
For online training or any use of UPN sites, you agree not to use the Sites in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation (including, without limitation, any laws regarding the export of data or software to and from the US or other countries). You also agree that all materials on UPN sites are the sole copyright of UPN, with All Rights Reserved by UPN. UPN-owned sites and their entire contents, features and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, coursework, text, displays, images, video and audio, and the design, selection and arrangement thereof), are owned by UPN and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. Our coursework is hosted on a 3rd party site, but all contents, features and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, coursework, text, displays, images, video and audio, and the design, selection and arrangement thereof), are owned by UPN and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
For UPN clients seeking and granted UPN certification designations as a result of completing UPN training workshops, grantees (also defined as "Students") agree to maintain the highest level of customer service standards during their one-year term of UPN certification designation. Students understand and agree that such certification designations are granted solely at the discretion of UPN's certification manager, who can revoke such certification designations for any reason seen fit by the UPN Certification Manager at any time. Certification designations in good standing are good for one year, and then must be renewed under UPN's renewal rules as shown in current UPN curriculum brochures. UPN may change, alter or cancel any certification curriculum at UPN's discretion at any time, as well as the rules guiding certification standards. Clients and UPN both agree training is the sole goal of paid UPN training services, and UPN certification status has no legal or statutory standing (in higher education, for example) and is simply a means for recognizing and perpetuating excellence regarding that achievement. UPN students agree to act professional in their positions in order to reflect the customer service 'Gold Standard' that UPN evangelizes.
